Travis Kelce was seemingly unimpressed with his performance on Monday night

The NFL star grabbed a 59-yard reception but was unable to find the end zone

ā€œGotta find a way to get my ass in the end zone,ā€ he told reporters after the game

Travis Kelce is his own worst critic!

The NFL star was seemingly unimpressed with his 59-yard reception — his longest since the 2021 season — on Monday night, according to comments he made to reporters following the Chiefs’ 31-10 win against the Denver Broncos.

ā€œGotta find a way to get my ass in the end zone,ā€ Kelce, 36, joked to assembled media in the locker room after the game.

Not that the veteran tight end didn’t think he had what it took to pick up 6.

ā€œI had guys blocking for me downfield, man,ā€ he said, ā€œand it’s a beautiful thing when you’ve got the cavalry out in front, man.ā€

Yet while the Chiefs were unable to score a touchdown and had to settle for a field goal, Kelce’s catch moved him up to No. 2 all-time — surpassing retired Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten — in receiving yards for tight ends.

Now in his 14th season in the league, Kelce trails former Chiefs great Tony Gonzalez by 2,054 yards for the record.

When it was all over, Kelce — who finished with two other receptions for a total of 71 total yards —gifted Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy with his game-worn jersey.

ā€œX! My brother forever! Cherish every time we step on the field. One of the realest on & off the gridiron!ā€ Kelce wrote on the inside of the No. 87, along with the date, the words ā€œ2nd All-Timeā€ and his signature.

For most of the contest, reigning Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III was the focus of the team’s offense.

The running back, 25, had a career night in his first game with the Chiefs, tallying 173 rushing yards on 23 carries, seemingly repelling opponents which resulted in multiple Broncos missed tackles.

Walker, Kelce and the Chiefs next face the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday night.
