Tom Holland created Bero's new shandy line for his fiancée Zendaya, who he said doesn't typically drink or like beer

The shandies feature unique flavors like elderflower and blackberry yuzu and are each inspired by different times of day

The drinks launch online on June 8 and will be available at Target starting June 14

Tom Holland is giving a sweet nod to his fiancée, Zendaya, with his new drink line.

The actor, 30, who co-founded the non-alcoholic beer company Bero, announced the release of the brand's new limited-time shandy line in a June 1 press release shared with PEOPLE. He said in the release that he formulated the new line of non-alcoholic beer-lemonade drinks for his fiancée Zendaya, 29.

“To be honest, I created the BERO Shandy for Z,” Holland said in the release. “She's never been a beer drinker, so I wanted to bring something new to the table that she could enjoy.”

“I've always loved shandies, so exploring that style with BERO felt like the perfect next step,” he added.

The drinks combine 30% of Bero's non-alcoholic lager-style Kingston Golden Pils base with 70% lemonade and fruit flavors “inspired by the rhythm of a summer day,” according to the release.

The 12-ounce drinks come in Daybreak Shandy, Golden Hour Shandy, Sunset Shandy and Midnight Shandy flavors.

Daybreak Shandy features lemon-lime, while Golden Hour is a pink grapefruit flavor. Sunset Shandy has elderflower and lemon notes, and Midnight Shandy combines blackberry and yuzu citrus.

Per the release, the drinks are inspired by the British tradition of shandies, which are typically made of lemonade combined with beer, while emphasizing Bero's flavor-forward beer development.

The release also added that the new line allows consumers to enjoy Bero at various times and events throughout the day, even if they are not beer drinkers.

Holland told Forbesthat the shandies themselves were his mother's idea, and Zendaya inspired him to create them.

“Zendaya, bless her, has never been a drinker, so she's never drank beer. She didn't love the beers we have on sale,” he told the outlet. “The idea behind the shandies was to create something authentic at the company that Z could enjoy.”

He also said that he isn't allowed to drink the grapefruit flavor at home, as that is Zendaya's preferred flavor. He added that the elderflower Sunset Shandy reminds him of his grandmother, who loved that flavor.

The actor stopped drinking in January 2022 and launched Bero on Oct. 15, 2024.

“When I ventured into the non-alcoholic world, I realized there was a void for a true, premium brand. I ultimately created Bero for myself because I was craving a product that helped me feel included,” Holland shared with PEOPLE when the drink brand launched at Target in January 2025. “I wanted to build a brand that not only stands out but, most importantly, helps people to fit in.”

He told Forbesin October 2024 that his fiancée Zendaya “absolutely hates beer,” but that actually ended up helping the process of developing Bero.

“She does not drink beer at all, and the first round of testing she was like, ‘Wow, these are really tasty', and I was like, ‘Well, that's probably not a good sign,'” Holland joked.

Since then, the Challengers actress has continued to show her support for the brand, including stepping out in a Bero-branded hat on Oct. 24, 2024.

Club BERO members can order the shandies at the brand's website for presale starting June 1, while the drinks officially launch online on June 8.

The shandies will be available at Target starting June 14 and will roll out to other retailers on July 1.
