Tom Brady's children will always be close to him, even when he's doing rounds on the golf course.

The retired NFL player and proud dad of three, 48, recently shared a snap showing how he keeps each of his kids close to him while playing golf. On his Instagram Stories, Brady, who's a father to daughter Vivian, 13, and sons Benjamin, 16, and John "Jack," 18, posted a picture of his custom golf clubs, each with one of his kids' names engraved on the clubhead.

"❤️❤️❤️ Always my three hearts," he wrote in text above the photo.

Brady welcomed his younger children with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, and his older son with ex-girlfriend, actress Bridget Moynahan. The proud father is always showing off the special ways he keeps his children close.

Back in October 2025, he posted a snap of himself on his Instagram Stories, showing a necklace that had each of his children's names engraved on it. In text over the photo, Brady shared a sweet sentiment about keeping his children close to him always: "Forever in my heart ❤️❤️❤️."

Later that same month, Brady shared another picture on his Instagram Stories of his custom Bode couch that sits below three solo framed photos of his children. The doting dad also included a sweet nod to his children on the personalized couch, printing each of his kids' birthdays on a cushion.

"❤️❤️❤️," he wrote in text above the photo.

Brady — who famously un-retired from football in March 2022 and then announced his retirement again in February 2023 — loves being a father. In the July 2025 entry of his weekly newsletter, the dad of three penned a message about finding fulfillment in life outside of the sports world. Brady also opened up about what he believes makes him a "great father."

"I think part of being a great father is being a great example of doing what it takes to take care of your family," he explained. "I chose to do it by playing football."

He added, "My dedication to the sport, the hours of practice, the moments when I was laser focused — those were times when I believe I was doing the best possible thing for my family and my kids, by prioritizing my profession and teaching, by example, what it takes to be really good at your job, what it takes to follow through on commitments, what it takes to be a great teammate; and showing them, also by example, that work is a big part of all of our lives."

Brady went on to explain that there is more than one way to show up for your children and be a great parent.

"Remember, your children are watching everything. They see what you do in every aspect of your life and how you do it," he wrote. "Reading bedtime stories and helping them with homework are not the only ways to be a great parent."

"And neither is winning Super Bowls or MVPs," he continued. "Being a great football player didn’t make me a great dad, but how I became a great player certainly had an impact — from showing up day in and day out, to doing whatever it took to get better, be successful, be a role model, and to provide."
