“There’s a few really deep cuts that I think are missing from the movies,” Reynolds said. He later clarified that he meant there were missing elements from the comics. “I think a few deep cuts is missing from some of the comics,” he added. His comments suggested future films could explore lesser-known storylines.

Reynolds then hinted that another movie could eventually move forward. “There’s stuff upcoming, there’s eventually, you know, remotely another Deadpool film,” he said. “It’s going to be great.” A fan video featuring his comments later circulated widely across social media.
