Robin Quivers announced she is cancer-free after battling endometrial cancer since her initial diagnosis in 2012
Howard Stern called the news a "miracle" and praised Quivers for taking charge of her health during treatment
Quivers shared that she never gave up hope despite the challenges of undergoing cancer treatment
After struggling with endometrial cancer for nearly 14 years, Robin Quivers says she has no evidence of disease.
"I'm cancer-free!" Quivers, 73, announced on the June 1 episode of The Howard Stern Show, sharing what longtime broadcasting partner Stern called "a miracle." The talk show icon had been living with endometrial cancer, having first been diagnosed with the disease in 2012. The disease returned in 2017.
In true Stern style, the duo first joked that Quivers' big announcement was that she was going to start an OnlyFans account, and then that she was pregnant with Stern's baby. "We've been secret lovers for years," quipped Stern, 72.
Jokes aside, Stern said, "This is honestly the best news ever."

"Robin kicked cancer's ass. They said it couldn't be done," Stern said, sharing that when Quivers called him to share the news, "I get the chills now even thinking about it. You know what I mean, when you just can't believe something?"
He continued, "I couldn't believe it. And really, I've said this to Robin privately, but I would like to say it on the air. Like this is really a miracle."

"This stuff always goes f---king wrong, but Robin is a fighter," Stern said, going on to praise his longtime friend. "She researched, she got the answers she needed, and here's the good lesson — she took charge. I'm gonna say this because this is really true. I've watched the whole thing. She took charge of her health. She started to do all the right things. She never deviated, and she really took it seriously."

A week ago, he said, "We got the news… she had no cancer in her body. And I'm telling you, Robin, on behalf of this show, and you know, of course to me you're the most important, and I love you, and I am so happy for you, and I don't even know what you must be feeling inside."
"I feel like a brand-new person," Quivers said.
"Do me a favor," Stern said. "Don't go out and get hit by a car."
When Stern asked her how she handled the treatment, she said, while "life isn't all that fun" during treatment, "I never gave up hope."
