Robert Herjavec and Kym Johnson-Herjavec are opening the doors to their Canadian vacation home!
The Shark Tank judge, 64, and the former Dancing with the Stars pro, 50, offered a look inside their serene lakeside abode in Muskoka, located about two hours north of Toronto, during a recent tour with Homeworthy.
With endless waterfront views and lush greenery, the destination is considered “heaven on earth for many people,” Robert told the outlet, adding, “Some people call it the Hamptons of Canada.”

The entrepreneur added that having a home in Muskoka is like a dream come true for him, especially as a native of Canada who grew up in a one-room apartment without “a lot of money.”
Set on three acres of land, the property features the large main house in addition to a boathouse, guest house, garage and detached gym. Robert and Kym, who share 8-year-old twins Hudson and Haven, view the home as an idyllic place for their kids to connect with their Canadian side.
“When we had our kids, I think it was really important to them to have a little bit of Canadian roots. I think it doesn’t get more Canadian than the lakes,” said Kym, who is originally from Australia.
Inside the home, the couple — who met on DWTS and have been married since 2016 — agree that the open-layout kitchen and dining area is probably their favorite part of the home, especially because of the stunning views they get to soak in from every corner.
“One of the great things about the house, and in this room is, it’s almost flat,” Robert told Homeworthy. “It’s almost like being on a ship. Everywhere you look you can see water, which is pretty rare up here.”

The space features a folding glass wall that leads directly into their “Muskoka room,” which includes a retractable screen to keep unwanted bugs out. The indoor-outdoor space also boasts a fireplace, TV and barbecue area.
That room also opens up to their outdoor dining area with unobstructed views of the lake. Adorned with cozy string lights, the backyard features a pizza oven, hot tub, sauna and pickleball court elsewhere on the property.

Their detached boathouse is located down the hill, which is pretty common for most Muskoka homes. “Muskoka is all about the boathouse. I mean, if they would let you, people just have a boathouse and no house at all,” Robert said.

Additional noteworthy details in the home include the massive fireplace in their living room, which is handmade out of Muskoka rock. While the unique amenity creates a cozy atmosphere all year round, Kym admitted that the destination took some getting used to as a native Australian.

“It was so different for me. But the first time Robert brought me here, I could not believe it,” she said. “It looked like something out of The Parent Trap, which is one of my favorite movies.”
