The monarch issued a letter via Lord Chamberlain, clarifying that Harry and Meghan are private citizens and cannot carry out royal engagements or use royal titles. The Duke of Sussex is desperate to hit back at his father but fears another war with the royal family.

Sources attached to Radar Online revealed that Harry is reportedly “deeply frustrated” with his father’s letter, re-asserting their status as non-working royals, specifically “private citizens.”

A source close to the Sussexes dished that there is “plenty” the Duke of Sussex would like to say from his end. However, he is aware of how the media will twist the narrative to be him versus the British monarchy again.

The insider chimed in, stating: “He feels the Palace’s language painted an incomplete picture of his and Meghan’s position. They accept they aren’t working royals, but they don’t believe describing two globally recognized people as private citizens reflects reality.”

Harry is “gagging” to give it back to Charles with some kind of “revenge statement.” However, he doesn’t want to react on impulse for things to be blown out of proportion. Another source explained that the Duke of Sussex isn’t demanding that the royal palace crown them working royals again, but rather that it understand their perspective. Harry is seemingly angry about the fact that the verdict was simply handed to them, leaving no room for negotiation. The Sussexes’ spokesperson released a statement to BBC, stating that they “were a little surprised not to have been told about this in advance.”
