Sources claimed the Duke of Sussex believed his brother supported his father, King Charles’, decision to block a flexible royal arrangement. The report said the decision shut down any “half-in, half-out” royal role after the Sussexes returned to Britain. Harry and Meghan Markle had moved back with their children, Archie and Lilibet, after six years in California.

Soon after, Charles issued formal guidance on the Sussexes’ current status. The outlet said the couple remained non-working royals, with private charitable and commercial activities. A royal source claimed, “Harry believes William’s influence is all over this.” The insider said Harry accepted that the guidance came from the King. However, he felt William supported drawing “the hardest possible line.” Harry reportedly saw it as another “deeply disappointing intervention.”
