Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's recent move back to England is reportedly being funded by billionaire pal Ian Wace.
The British financier, 63, is the CEO of the hedge fund Marshall Wace LLP, and is rumored to be worth approximately $1.2 billion.
Ian Wace Allegedly Offered the Sussexes Financial Support

According to a Page Six source, Wace offered friendly and financial support to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex amid their move to the U.K.
However, it's not believed the businessman is paying for their entire stay in the country.
Meghan, 45, and Harry, 41, returned to England on August 26 after six years away, and they are reportedly set to remain there for an extended period of time.

The pair famously left The Firm in 2020 to make moves toward becoming financially independent, and they set up house in Montecito, Calif.
Wace and the Invictus Games founder allegedly have a close friendship, as he took his children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, to the banker's private Scottish island, named Tanera Mòr, back in July.
Harry also visited the remote island in 2017 after Wace purchased the property for $2.3 million.
Meghan and Harry even double-dated with Wace and his ex-wife, model Saffron Aldridge, at a 2019 Cirque du Soleil show at Royal Albert Hall in London.

Aldridge, 57, allegedly gave the Suits star fashion advice and suggestions on how to navigate the inner workings of the British aristocracy, according to The Sun.
Harry and Wace also share some common trauma, as the prince lost his mother, Princess Diana, when he was 12 years old in 1997 following a tragic car accident in Paris. Wace's first wife, Joanna, and their two young children — Guy, 4, and Alicia, 11 months — died in a car crash in Hampshire, England, in 1994.
King Charles Was Made Aware of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Move

As for the Sussexes' recent relocation decision, King Charles reportedly found out about the move just a few days before the August 19 announcement. The monarch — who is currently suffering with a form of cancer — is allegedly "the reason they are moving back," an insider also dished to Page Six last month.
The As Ever founder and the Spare author's return also comes amid ongoing tensions with the royal family.
Harry's estranged brother, Prince William, and his wife, Kate Middleton, are reportedly "feeling uneasy" and were caught off guard by the comeback.
"It’s about broken trust," royal expert Helena Chard told Fox News recently, adding the Prince of Wales, 45, feels that Harry and Meghan "have spent years attacking the institution, then monetizing their grievances through a very lucrative media operation."
