For years, the rift between Prince Harry and Prince William has looked irreparable. Now with the Sussexes back in the UK, a royal expert believes that a path to reconciliation still exists. Harry and Meghan Markle‘s relationship with the royal family has been strained since Megxit. It escalated further after explosive claims made in interviews, the Netflix documentary, and the Duke’s memoir “Spare.”
Expert reveals a way on how Prince Harry can reconcile with Prince William
Victoria Arbiter has called on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to apologize publicly. Since stepping down as senior working royals in 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have pursued several high-profile ventures. In them, they have spoken candidly about their experiences within the royal family.
However, the royal expert has suggested that a public apology could go a long way with both the British public and Prince William. Talking to The Royal Observer, she noted, “I think it would be dreadful for all parties involved if there were unresolved issues five, ten, fifteen, twenty years from now. Nobody wants that for any family, but I think William has to be able to handle that on his own terms when he’s ready.”

Arbiter added, “This may be controversial, but a public, genuine, authentic apology from Harry and Meghan would go a very long way. You add to that a sense of trust being rebuilt.”
The monarchy expert also believes that Harry should reach an agreement with the Palace to defuse tensions. She further suggested that the King’s youngest son should refrain from criticising other royals. Arbiter went on to say that the 41-year-old should also respect the royal calendar and avoid overstepping. For example, he should not launch his own tour while the King is away on an official one.
The expert also believes that an apology could be the reset Harry needs. It would allow him to use his influential global platform for good. Arbiter concluded by saying, “I hope they turn this into a positive opportunity for a fresh start.”
