Nicholas Hoult wears an iconic piece of Lex Luthor wardrobe in *Man of Tomorrow*, the upcoming follow-up to *Superman* that's currently in production.

On Monday, James Gunn, the co-head of DC Studios and the director of the 2027 event film, shared a look at his actor inside the villain's comics-accurate green war suit.

"Fit check," Gunn wrote alongside the image on his various social media platforms. "Live from the set of Man of Tomorrow."

When Gunn first announced the movie, which is set to open in theaters July 9, 2027, he and Hoult shared imagery from DC Comics of Lex in the same suit. Now we're seeing it realized in live-action for the big screen.

*Man of Tomorrow* will return Hoult alongside David Corenswet's Superman as the heated adversaries are forced into an uneasy alliance to take on a much larger threat, Brainiac, played by Lars Eidinger (*All the Light We Cannot See*).
