Lamar Odom's kids have responded to claims that they weren't allowed to attend his wedding to Khloé Kardashian.

The former NBA player was married to the reality star from 2009 until 2016.

Lamar Odom's kids are speaking out about their father's wedding to Khloé Kardashian.

In the new Netflix documentary, Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom, the former NBA player's son LJ and daughter Destiny opened up about how they found out about Odom's impending nuptials to the reality star. Odom and Kardashian dated for one month before they tied the knot in 2009.

Odom claimed that his children weren't allowed to attend the wedding. "My baby's mother didn't let [my children] come to my wedding. My own kids didn't come to my wedding," he said.

However, LJ and Destiny said otherwise. “I never even met her. I don’t think he told me he was marrying her," LJ admitted during an interview.

“I just didn’t wanna be a show pony or anything like that,” Destiny said. “If you wanna get married in front of, like, a hundred people and all these cameras, that’s totally cool, and it’s on you.”

Liza Morales — Odom's ex and the mother of Destiny and LJ — also was surprised, recalling hearing about the wedding from Odom via text message. “I really thought he was joking,” Morales said during an interview for the documentary.

“I said, ‘My God, come on now. That’s too soon.’ I said, ‘Things like that don’t work out.’” Odom's aunt Janean Mercer agreed.

Morales also spoke about the televised aspect of Odom and Kardashian's big day. "Of course when you decide to get married to someone in 30 days, of course it's gonna hurt," she said. "And on top of it, let me just stick it to you a little bit more, it's gonna be on on television."

Mercer added that Odom didn't invite his family to the splashy wedding. "None of us," she emphasized, adding that his childhood friend Anthony “Pumpkin” Booker was there. Booker recalled Odom talking to him for "two hours" at the wedding, "explaining the moves that he's doing" in order to "better his future."

And Odom agreed. “I’m already Lamar Odom. I’m kinda watching how she live, [the Kardashians’] lifestyle, and I’m like, ‘I know this is where I want to be. This is how I wanna live’… I wasn’t really ready for that power," he said during the documentary.

Odom did get his own reality show when his and Kardashian's marriage spawned a Keeping Up With the Kardashians spinoff series, Khloé & Lamar.

LJ did also warm up to his father's union. “If I’m gonna be honest, when he was married to Khloé, I looked forward to Christmas ‘cause I was like, ‘I know Kris and Khloé are gonna give me some good presents,'" LJ admitted in the documentary.

The reality star and former basketball player's relationship began to fall apart as Odom's drug use worsened. Kardashian staged an intervention and filed the paperwork for divorce in 2015. That October while waiting for final legal approval, Odom suffered a near-fatal drug overdose at the Love Ranch brothel in Las Vegas.

Kardashian rushed to the hospital and helped take care of him after he experienced brain damage, slipped into a coma, suffered 12 strokes and six heart attacks from ingesting cocaine and sexual performance-enhancing drugs.

While she supported him during his recovery, renting a house for him near hers with a caretaker and chef, she discovered Odom relapsed and had been using drugs again. “He was better than I knew. He was playing me so I can continue this lifestyle for him," she recalled.

Kardashian kicked him out of the house she was paying for and would file for divorce a second time in May 2016.
