Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau were spotted holding hands in the stands of the USA vs. Paraguay World Cup match in Los Angeles on June 12.
Perry performed ahead of the match, while Trudeau stood on the side of the pitch cheering her on.
Perry wore a blue turtleneck, while Trudeau wore a navy blazer to watch the game.
Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau enjoyed a cute date at the FIFA World Cup on Friday, June 12. In a video shared on X by Fox, the couple could be seen holding hands as they took in the USA vs. Paraguay match in Los Angeles.
It was a big day for Perry, who was a major part of the USA opening ceremony at the event. Wearing a silver sequin fringe dress with a bold sculptural peplum waist, the singer performed a rendition of her 2024 song "Wonder" in the center of the pitch. After the performance, she was seen dashing over to Trudeau waiting on the side of the pitch, where they shared a hug.

Following her performance, Perry changed into something a little more appropriate for taking in a game of soccer—a teal blue sleeveless turtleneck top. Meanwhile, Trudeau wore a navy blazer over a white T-shirt.

Perry and Trudeau's World Cup date comes just a few days after they made their red carpet debut at the Tribeca premiere of Perry's Lifetimes Tour film. The pair held hands on the red carpet in coordinated looks for the occasion—Perry wore a white goddess gown, while Trudeau wore a black suit with a white shirt.

Things seem to be going well for Perry and Trudeau, who have been romantically linked for almost a year. In fact, a source told Us Weekly that "Things between Katy and Justin are very serious. After her split from Orlando, Katy really wasn't expecting to jump into another relationship anytime soon, but Justin completely caught her by surprise. He came into her life at the right time, and they have developed a really strong connection."
