He also called her a āgreat leaderā on the set of the first film.
Jack Quaid is singing Jennifer Lawrenceās praises.
The 34-year-old Boys alum stopped by EWās 2026 San Diego Comic-Con studio over the weekend, where he revealed how his Hunger Games costar taught him what it means to be first on a call sheet during a game of Superhero Mount Rushmore.
āKatniss Everdeen, the Girl on Fire, Iād be nowhere without you,ā Quaid said, holding up a photo of Lawrence before placing it on his Mount Rushmore. āJennifer Lawrence, maybe the nicest person ever. It was amazing I got to be in that movie and to meet her and that entire cast.ā

The actor starred as MarvelĀ ā a tribute from District 1 who infamously kills Katnissā ally Rue (Amandla Stenberg) ā in the first Hunger Games film. After murdering the young girl, Katniss ends Marvelās life by shooting him with an arrow.
Quaid described Lawrence as āa great leaderā on the set of the 2012 film adaptation. āShe taught me what it meant to be number one on the call sheet, and she absolutely crushed it,ā he added. āSo, of course, gotta go with Jen.ā
While Quaidās character didnāt make it out of the first film alive, Lawrence would go on to star in the next three Hunger Games installments alongside Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Stanley Tucci, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, and more.
Quaid rounded out his Mount Rushmore with Christian Baleās version of Bruce Wayne/Batman, David Corenswetās take on Clark Kent/Superman, and Shameik Mooreās Miles Morales/Spider-Man from Across the Spider-Verse.

But he wasnāt done just yet.
āCan I just get an honorable mention for the Powerpuff Girls? Because my God, what a show,ā he said as he precariously placed the portrait of the animated trio alongside his core four. āThere we go. Iām building a new Mount Rushmore.ā
He revealed which Powerpuff Girl he most closely identifies with, too. āIām definitely Bubbles. I just know I am. I know this for a fact,ā he explained. āHer vibe and my vibe are definitely very similar.ā
Still, he acknowledged that others in his life may have a different answer.
āIn college, I lived with these two guys and we rented an apartment, we painted our doors the Powerpuff Girl colors, and I believe they gave me Blossom,ā he said. āAnd I donāt know why, because I donāt think Iām the commander and the leader, but I think maybe Iāll go with Blossom actually. Thatās what they bestowed upon me.
He added, āSo thank you, boys. Thank you college roommates, Rob and Max.ā
