Jasmine Roth is sharing new details about her daughter's recent "traumatic" accident.
In several posts on her Instagram Stories, the HGTV host, 41, opened up about a "rough" day she had after her daughter Darla, 21 months, had her first emergency room visit following a "traumatic" accident at home. Roth, who also shares her daughter, Hazel, 6, with husband Brett Roth, explained that her daughter fell off the couch and hit her head on the coffee table, causing an indentation where her eyebrow is supposed to be.
"Today was a rough one. Darla had her first ER visit (our first since having kids) and it was a LOT," Roth wrote. "She fell off the couch and hit the coffee table just right, so she had a 1/2” indentation where her eyebrow was supposed to be."
"I was home alone with both girls and had to rush us to the hospital. Brett met us there. Darla is ok but it took 7 stitches to close her back up," she added. "She was such a trooper. I’m going to put out coffee table in storage until the kids are in college 🥺."

The Hidden Potential host extended a "huge thank you" to her local hospital for their work in helping her daughter. Roth then shared a graphic image of her daughter's wound, saying she's "never seen anything like this."
“A huge thank you to our local hospital for getting her put back together again,” she wrote. “You guys, I’ve never seen anything like this. I was so scared for her. Hazel was screaming because she was scared too but we had to act fast. Poor baby cried but was so brave.”
The loving mom, who is currently expecting her third baby, also took a moment to send a reminder to parents that being a "parent isn’t about all the pressure we put on ourselves to make everything perfect." Instead, Roth used the moment to reassure her fellow moms and dads that they aren't alone during the tough times.

“Just a reminder that being a parent isn’t about all the pressure we put on ourselves to make everything perfect," she wrote. "It’s about keeping them as safe as possible and being there for them when something goes wrong."
"It was a traumatic day but once the sedation wore off it was almost like it didn’t happen for her," Roth added. "Feeling lucky it wasn’t worse and we were able to take her home to rest and play. Sending love to all the parents who are having tough times right now. You aren’t alone ❤️.”

The soon-to-be mom of three also shared that her rough day was only heightened when she couldn't feel the heartbeat of her baby on the way.
“Andddd since I’m sharing my day, about 10 minutes before Darla hit her head, we were trying this thing where you use your iPhone and your earbuds to listen to the baby’s heartbeat," she explained. "I knew I was probably too early so wasn’t super concerned when I couldn’t find a heartbeat."
"Then after Darla was all stitched up at the ER, I mentioned it to the doc and asked if they could do a quick listen to put my mind at ease. They weren’t able to find it either, which again wasn’t a major cause for concern because that’s not their specialty," Roth continued. "But I took Darla home and get her settled and then took myself to the OB Emergency in Salt Lake just to be sure. They immediately found the heartbeat and even did a quick ultrasound to show the baby basically doing gymnastics and I couldn’t feel a thing. 🙄🙄."
