Another relationship scandal has rocked the Bravo universe.
On March 31, "Summer House" stars Amanda Batula and West Wilson addressed online speculation about a rumored romance between them. In a joint Instagram statement, the pair confirmed they have developed a "connection" that "grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship."
While Batula, 34, and Wilson, 28, did not clarify the extent of their relationship, the statement sent shockwaves throughout the "Summer House" fanbase due to the pair's ties to other castmates. The long-running Bravo reality show, which follows a group of friends living together for the summer in the Hamptons, is currently airing its tenth season.
The "Summer House" drama quickly drew comparisons to controversies of Bravo's past, namely the 2023 affair fallout known as "Scandoval", which involved several cast members on "Vanderpump Rules."
But with a network of reality TV stars prone to drama, the list of scandals that have hit Bravo stars over the years is lengthy. Here's a look at some of the most memorable ones.

'Summer House' drama with West, Amanda and Ciara explained
The cast of "Summer House" (L-R) Jesse Solomon, Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, Lindsay Hubbard, West Wilson, Ciara Miller and Carl Radke attend SiriusXM's Front Row Series at SiriusXM Studios on Jan. 27, 2026 in New York City.
The latest Bravoverse scandal centers on Batula, Wilson and another "Summer House" cast member, Ciara Miller.
After weeks of romance rumors swirling on social media, Batula and Wilson addressed the fan speculation in their joint Instagram statement.
"We've seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity. It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we need a little space to process things privately before speaking on it," the lengthy statement began.
It continued: "We've shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what's developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care."
The backlash surrounding Batula and Wilson's newfound connection comes from Batula's close friendship with Miller, who previously dated Wilson.
After Wilson joined the show in its eighth season, he and Miller struck up a romance before a public breakup, the aftermath of which has played out during the last two seasons of "Summer House."
Meanwhile, Miller and Batula maintained a close friendship throughout Batula's marriage to another cast member, Kyle Cooke. Batula and Cooke announced their split in January.
Scandoval affair

"Vanderpump Rules" was never the same after the "Scandoval" cheating scandal rocked the internet and the reality TV universe.
In March 2023, news broke that Tom Sandoval cheated on his girlfriend of nine years, Ariana Madix, with her close friend Raquel Leviss. All three starred on "Vanderpump Rules," which was airing its tenth season at the time.
The ensuing fallout − including legal proceedings, the show's explosive reunion and Sandoval's controversial interview in The New York Times − dominated social media discourse and the news cycle for months.
Afterwards, Leviss left the show, Madix landed a hosting gig on "Love Island: USA" and Sandoval shuttered his restaurant. Soon after, "Vanderpump Rules" got rebooted with a fresh cast of SUR-vers, who debuted on the show's most recent season.

Thomas Ravenel assault case

Early fans of "Southern Charm" will surely remember the on-and-off relationship between cast members Thomas Ravenel and Kathryn Dennis. The pair, whose relationship played out on the first several seasons of the show, share two children, Kensie and St. Julien.
But the major drama came off-screen for Ravenel. The former South Carolina politician − who resigned from his role as state treasurer in 2007 after pleading guilty to a federal drug charge − was accused of assaulting a former nanny in 2015.
Ravenel initially denied the allegations but eventually pleaded guilty to third-degree assault and battery of the woman in 2019. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, but it was suspended to a $500 fine and probation. Ravenel and the woman also reached a $125,000 settlement in the case, People reported.
White House crashers
President Barack Obama greets Michaele Salahi and Tareq Salahi at a State Dinner in the State Dining Room of the White House Nov. 24, 2009 in Washington DC.
It doesn't get much more major than testifying in front of Congress.
"The Real Housewives of D.C." stars Michaele Salahi and her then-husband, Tareq Salahi, made headlines and sparked questions about national security when they crashed a 2009 White House state dinner for India's prime minister at the time.
The couple, who insisted they were invited, were not on the guest list and managed to slip past two Secret Service checkpoints to enter the event. They were later called to appear before the House Homeland Security Committee in 2010.
The committee got no further answers from the pair, though, as the Salahis invoked their Fifth Amendment rights during the hearing.
While their state dinner attendance played out on "Housewives," it ultimately marked the demise of the Washington, DC franchise, which was canceled after one season.
'Housewives' legal run-ins: Teresa Giudice, Jen Shah, more
A list of Bravo scandals would be remiss without mentioning the numerous legal issues that have plagued "Real Housewives" stars over the years.
Famously, Teresa Giudice of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" fame served 11 months in prison for fraud charges. She and her then-husband, Joe, pleaded guilty in March 2014 to conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud and three types of bankruptcy fraud, after racking up $5 million in mortgages and construction loans. Joe Giudice also pleaded guilty to failing to file a tax return for 2004 and served jail time.
Real Housewife of New Jersey Teresa Giudice, 41, and her husband, Giuseppe Joe Giudice, 43, leave the Federal Courthouse in Newark after being charged with conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, bank fraud, making false statements on loan applications and bankruptcy fraud. Jen Shah, a "Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" alum, was released from prison in December 2025 after serving nearly three years for wire fraud.
Shah pleaded guilty in July 2022 to a single count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in a nationwide telemarketing scheme. She was released after serving two years and 10 months of her original six-and-a-half-year sentence.
Another "Housewives" star with an arrest record, Potomac's Karen Huger, was released from jail last September after serving six months of a yearlong sentence for DUI charges.
Similarly, former "Real Housewives of New York" star Luann de Lesseps was placed on probation after a 2017 arrest on charges of battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest with violence, disorderly intoxication and corruption by threat.
