Former Packers WR lands with former Packers coach in Philadelphia
The number of former Green Bay Packers now residing in Philadelphia is swelling. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, former Packers receiver Samori Toure is signing with the Eagles, joining Dontayvion Wicks and former Packers assistant coach Sean Mannion in Philadelphia.
Toure, who turned 28 in March, was a seventh-round pick of the Packers in the 2022 draft. He played in 22 games over two seasons in Green Bay, producing 13 catches for 160 yards and a touchdown. Since being released before the 2024 season, Toure has spent time with the Chicago Bears, Denver Broncos and New Orleans Saints, meaning the Eagles will be his fifth NFL team.
Last season, Toure appeared in one game for the Saints, catching one pass for three yards while playing 10 snaps in the regular season finale.

In Philadelphia, Toure will once again be teammates with Wicks, who was traded to the Eagles this offseason, and play under Mannion, who was an assistant coach under Matt LaFleur for the last two seasons. Toure and Mannion only spent a few months together in Green Bay before Toure was released in August of 2024.
With the Eagles, Toure will join a receiver room featuring several new faces, including Wicks and veterans Hollywood Brown and Elijah Moore, plus first-round pick Makai Lemon. The Eagles are still expected to part ways with Pro Bowler A.J. Brown at some point before the 2026 season.
