Dakota Mortensen has been cut out of his next Hulu project.
The reality star will be edited out of an upcoming season of Vanderpump Villa, Variety reports. Mortensen and other Secret Lives of Mormon Wives personalities were previously set to guest on the show, which follows Lisa Vanderpump's staff and guests. Season 3 of the series is set to debut on April 16.
Representatives for Hulu and a representative for Mortensen did not immediately respond to Entertainment Weekly's request for comment.
The news comes in the wake of the controversy surrounding Mortensen's on-again, off-again relationship with Mormon Wives star Taylor Frankie Paul. Hulu paused production on season 5 of Mormon Wives in March after authorities launched an investigation into an alleged domestic violence incident involving Paul and Mortensen.

At that point, Paul had already completed production on an entire season of ABC's The Bachelorette, but the season was ultimately shelved last month after a video of a previous 2023 fight between the ex-couple was published by TMZ. Paul was arrested over the 2023 incident and charged with aggravated assault and domestic violence in the presence of a child, as well as child abuse. She pled guilty to the aggravated assault charge, and the other charges were dropped.
A representative for Paul reacted to The Bachelorette season's cancellation in a statement to EW.

"Taylor is very grateful for ABC’s support as she prioritizes her family’s safety and security," the statement said. "After years of silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse as well as threats of retaliation, Taylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser and taking steps to ensure that she and her children are protected from any further harm."
Mortensen, who has been sporadically romantically involved with Paul since 2022, was granted a temporary restraining order against the Mormon Wives star and received temporary custody of their 2-year-old son. He also denied any wrongdoing in a statement to EW.
"As anyone who has seen the video will understand, this is a deeply upsetting situation," he said. "I am, unfortunately, used to these baseless claims about me and our relationship, which I categorically deny. I am focusing on our son and his safety, and hope that Taylor will do the same."

The series premieres April 6.
