- Christina Applegate had a hilarious welcome home banner waiting for her, courtesy of her daughter, Sadie.

- “My kid is so my kid hahah,” Applegate captioned the picture of colorful letters hanging on her wall.

- The actress, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2021, was in the hospital for four months earlier this year.

Christina Applegate’s daughter knows how to put a smile on her face.

The *Dead to Me* star belatedly shared the signs Sadie Grace LeNoble hung up to welcome Applegate home after her months-long hospitalization. The banners, comprised of letters in different colors and fonts, read, “Yay! You’re home. Happy day, ho.”

“Meant to post this a while ago. My kid is so my kid hahah,” Applegate proudly captioned the Instagram post.

Fans loved the sign waiting for Applegate at her home. “Blessed to have a daughter with the same ‘she gets me’ humour (the best medicine!) So glad you’re home,” one fan commented.

“🤣🤣🤣🤣 💜💜💜💜 she means well I bet it feels good to laugh too so there’s that,” another said. “Glad you’re doing well.”

Other fans left their well wishes for Applegate. “I’m so glad you’re home and hope you are feeling better. ❤️,” someone wrote, summing up the sentiment.

Applegate, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2021 and has been open about her health journey, recently posted about her daughter with a video of the pair making silly faces, posing with fake lips.

“Me and the kid. How is everyone this evening?” she wrote on Instagram in July. “I’m so good because going thru pics and finding gems with your mini me gives me joy. Cuz we are both off hahah.”

Christina Applegate says she feels 'trapped in this darkness' amid MS diagnosis

The *Anchorman** *star was reportedly hospitalized in late March, *TMZ* reported in April. Her rep told ** at the time, “I have no comment on whether she is in the hospital or what her medical treatments are.”

Adding, “She’s had a long history of complicated medical conditions that she has been refreshingly open about, as evidenced in her memoir and on her podcast.” Applegate cohosts the podcast, *MeSsY*, with Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who also battles MS. In March, Applegate published her memoir, *You With the Sad Eyes*.

Later that month, Applegate shared an update with her fans on Instagram. “Thank you for the outpouring of love and well wishes. Health issues are a constant for me, but I’m a strong chick and I’m getting stronger and better every day,” she wrote at the time, beneath a photo of a coffee cup sitting atop her memoir.

“I’m taking a moment to focus on my health, but I’ll be back with more to say soon enough,” Applegate added.

Amid reports that Applegate had recently been discharged from her months-long hospitalization, a source told PEOPLE in August that the actress was “doing very well.”

Applegate said in March 2025 that she had previously been hospitalized “upwards of 30 times” following her MS diagnosis.

Months later, she spread awareness about the illness on Instagram. “For people who don’t understand MS. When we get stressed or upset our symptoms get worse,” she said in November 2025, captioning a clip of her subtly giving the middle finger.

“I had something happen to me on Friday and I have fallen like 5 times. Legs are busted. So if you know someone with a disease like this, maybe think…”
